Armondafinil; Considered the Best “Smart Drug”?

On July 10, 2017 In Health, Wellness, Armodafinil 0

We now live in a modern society that is without a doubt, over worked and sleep deprived. All too often we are reaching for an extra cup of coffee or energy drink to get us wired but the repercussions leave us tired.

The days of working a well-paid 8-hour day Monday through Friday with weekends off leaving plenty of money to live well on, have a nice work-life balance and plenty of time to relax are long gone for majority percent of the westernized world. Many would easily say their workdays are 15 hours or more (you may be hearing me loud and clear).Young depressed businessman sitting with smoking head.jpeg

These repetitive and demanding schedules of ours can leave us feeling mentally drained as we feel Mr. Sandman pulling harder than ever at us, into his world with each aging year that passes on our bodies.

  1.  Can Your Mental Abilities Be "Limitless"?
  2. What Are Nootropics?
  3. Is Armodafinil the Smartest Drug of All?
  4. Is Armodafinil Right For Me?

Relying on Short Term Caffeine Energy

One crutch we tend to have sometimes in life, is that we tend to over indulge with caffeine from time to time. Sometimes, we simply love the feeling of being incredibly alive and alert, but most of the time (when we do over consume) do so simply to push through the day when our plate is piled high with tasks to get done and we need to bury Mr. Sandman’s calls to the sleep pillow.

The coffee and energy drinks are great at first but as most of us know from experience, the boost wears off quickly and leaving us feeling tired again. The jolt of energy is often only short lived for an hour or maybe two, more so with prolonged use.

Can Your Mental Abilities Be “Limitless”?

Like many, we have had our struggles with fighting the brain fog and staying alert to be “on our game” day to day with work and business to be our best.

If you’re big into TV and movies, you may have heard about the TV series called Limitless. Being able to have super brain power and cognitive abilities beyond human capacity as we know it, is essentially what the show is about. If you haven’t yet, you may want to consider giving it a watch!

Limitless has really helped to spark a lot more interest and attention in the Nootropic and “Smart Drug” supplement world. Although supplements such as piracetams, choline, related herbs and elixirs to help cognitive function and focus have been around for many years, most have not heard of them until recently these last few years.

What Are Nootropics?

Nootropics is an umbrella term for a class of chemicals — some endogenously produced within our bodies and, some artificial — that give cognitive advantages to that chunk of grey matter up in our skulls.

To be uburly technical, keeping in mind the end goal to be a nootropic, a substance must satisfy 5 required things set by Dr. Corneliu E. Giurgea, the man who instituted the expression "nootropic." The substance must meet the following criteria:

  1. Increase the efficacy of neuronal firing control mechanisms in the brain.
  2. Upgrade memory and capacity to learn.
  3. Protect the brain from chemical and physical assaults, such as anti-cholinergic drugs and barbiturates.
  4. Help the brain function under disruptive conditions, such as hypoxia (low oxygen) and electroconvulsive shock.
  5. Possess few or no side effects and be virtually non-toxic.

This is a strong rundown of required necessities for any substance. Indeed, anything that meets this full definition, not only could be called a nootropic, but could similarly well be known as a "marveling miracle compound".

Be that as it may, ordinarily when you hear the term nootropic kicked around, individuals typically mean a "cognitive enhancer" — something that benefits thinking or mental clarity and alertness somehow (enhanced memory, quicker speed-of-processing, expanded mental capacities, or a mix of these, and so forth).

However, these will not meet the more thorough Nootropic definition above. "Smart Drugs" is another generally compatible term being thrown around here also, that some of us may have heard before.

Armodafinil (aka; Nuvigil): One of the first to acquire the name "smart drug," Armodafinil has been a solid drive in the realm of nootropics. Considered better than its older sister compound Modafinil, it is considered the "king" of them all by many who have used it and compared it to other smart drugs. Armodafinil is a game changer without a doubt!

Even though its nootropic properties are off-label aside from its approved use and primary intentions to help those with narcolepsy, you may still be able to attain it if you have a legit necessity for using it and a good doctor that is willing to work with and help you.

Positives:

  1. All the energy and alertness advantages of an espresso yet considerably much better without the jitters
  2. Studies suggest that Armodifinil enhances cognitive abilities, alertness and learning abilities
  3. Side effects are rarely seen in most people
  4. euphoric feeling

Cons

  1. Can be difficult to get prescribed off label (approved for narcolepsy)
  2. Need to be responsible so as to not take too much or use recklessly.
